Carotenoids

Quick summary of the science :

Carotenoids are plant pigments responsible for bright red, yellow and orange hues in many fruits and vegetables.  The health benefits of consuming carotenoids comes from their vitamin A activity in the body. These benefits include support for the skin, immune system, heart and eyes.

Carotenoids include alpha carotene, beta carotene, lycopene, lutein and zeaxanthin.
